Dan Armstrong

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Dan Armstrong is known for his contributions to the Ampeg Company of Linden, N.J. There he released a new line of guitars & basses that were ground breaking. They were no longer resembling anything even remotely similar to an acoustical guitar, they were made of clear plexiglas (transparent material). They were designed by expert guitar luthier and recording session musician Dan Armstrong. The guitars have recently gained popularity from there 1990's reissue and with artists such as Dave Grohl of the Foo fighter using it during perfomances and in music videos.
