[edit] Image tagging for Image:Ericka_Yancey_-_Ericka.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Ericka_Yancey_-_Ericka.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Jodywatleynew.jpg)

Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Jodywatleynew.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image can be used under a fair use license. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Yamla 15:51, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Blocked

After all the previous warnings and a great deal of time I spent letting you know about the fair-use requirements of images, I see you have gone ahead and ignored everything. You have been reblocked for 48 hours. It is clear that you are not acting in good faith and any further violations of Wikipedia's copyright and fair-use policies will result in an indefinite block. Under no circumstances are you to upload any more images until you have read WP:FU, WP:Copyrights, and Help:Image page. --Yamla 15:51, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] fair-use requirements of images

I thought I posted a link to where the image came from? I was looking at other images, I haven't seen an example. [1] Dam!ta 16:49, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

You still refused to present a detailed fair-use rationale as you have been told about over and over again. The links above (and the numerous links in your archive page) present lots of additional information. The help page linked above gives some examples of a fair-use rationale. --Yamla 17:22, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | unblock | contribs) asked to be unblocked, but one or more administrators has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators can also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). This unblock request continues to be visible. Do not replace this message with another unblock request.

Request reason: "None given"

Decline reason: "Been warned, I thought is not good enough, reality is you didn't"

Administrators: This template should be removed when the block has expired, or after 2 days in the case of blocks of 1 week or longer.

You're making a big deal over nothing, I put a link to where I got the image from (which in most cases is an album cover), I don't know what else I'm supposed to add. My i'm doing something wrong, but you are getting a little too ban happy in my opinion. Dam!ta 17:22, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

Stop adding unblock requests. The existing unblock request stays visible (and has already been denied). You know full well what else you are meant to add, you have been told over and over and over again that copyrighted images must have detailed fair-use rationales. You've been given specific links to more information about this. You continue violating Wikipedia's copyright and fair-use policies and if this continues, you will be blocked permanently. You already agreed to include the necessary information and then blatantly refused to do so. --Yamla 17:25, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

How can you tell me what I well enough know? If I knew, I wouldn't have a problem with it. It's only photos, once again in most cases, an album cover. Sorry I'm not coding it right. But you are a horrible administrator. I've only been a member since April, so I have yet to get the full idea of the right codes yet. I would like for someone other than Yamla to review this, thank you. Dam!ta 17:45, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

Stop adding new {{unblock}} requests. You have already been warned about this. The old one stays visible and other admins may review it. Please note that your unblock request was denied by another admin, not by me. It is not clear what you are saying above. Are you saying that you do know how to add a fair-use rationale or are you saying you do not know? Have you read the links you have been given above which clearly explain fair-use rationales? Can you explain why, knowing that fair-use rationales are required, you decided not to bother in the recent images you uploaded? Also, please see WP:NPA. --Yamla 17:51, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

Stop saying "warned" its so annoying. There is life outside of WikiPedia. lol. It sounds like, you've been warned, now its the end of the world if you don't stop.

Now, when adding images, I was told to leave a source to where the image came from which is what I do, and when I looked at other images on Wiki, I didn't get an example of anything different, like these [2], [3], [4].

I don't understand why you keep on bringing up the source of the images you upload. The problem, at least with the most recent images, is the detailed fair-use rationale which you are not providing. Have you even read the links given to you above? See for example Image:Yxa.blod.Keira.Knightley.JPG. Please do not respond until you have read WP:FU, WP:Copyrights, and Help:Image page and please confirm in writing that you have read these as you have been asked to do many, many, many times. --Yamla 18:01, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

Those are not images I upload, look at the uploader, but I get the idea from this photo [5], the most of the photos on Wiki are not noted like that. Dam!ta 18:03, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

Also, got a better idea after reading [6], makes for good reading. Dam!ta 18:05, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

Yamla???? Dam!ta 19:25, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

I'm still blocked. can anyone help thanks.... Dam!ta 12:38, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

We can't unblock you at this time, because you haven't given us the information we need to look into your block. You yourself were not blocked; if you were prevented from editing, you must have been autoblocked or blocked because of your IP address. I'm removing your unblock request because there's nothing we can do without this information. If you are still autoblocked by the time you read this message:

  1. If you have a Wikipedia account, please ensure that you are logged in.
Your account name will be visible in the top right of this page if you are. If it isn't, try clearing your cache.
  2. Try and edit the Wikipedia:Sandbox by clicking here.
  3. Copy the {{unblock-auto|...}} code generated for you under the "Autoblocked?" section.
  4. Paste the code at the bottom of your user talk page and click save.

If you are not blocked from editing the sandbox then the autoblock on your IP address has already expired and you can resume editing.

Your block has not yet expired. It expires in a little under an hour. I did not unblock you after your earlier requests because you were previously given the benefit of the doubt on your prior block and then you ignored everything that was pointed out to you. You should be able to edit in an hour or so. --Yamla 14:51, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
