[edit] Biography

Formed in the late 1990s in Waltham, Massachusetts, Damone was originally formed by Vazquez and Dustin Hengst. They recruited Dave Pino before the addition of 16 year old Noelle in 2002.

Comprised of Noelle on rhythm/lead guitar and lead vocals, Dave Pino on lead guitar, Vazquez on bass, and Dustin on drums, Damone signed a deal with RCA in 2002, releasing their debut album "From The Attic" in 2003. The band experienced inner turmoil as their label began ignoring them due to slow sales. One of the worst possible things could have happened when guitarist Dave Pino quit the band.

The band was at a loss without Pino, who had been the primary song writer up to this point. The band relocated to Boston, Massachusetts and recruited local guitarist Mike Woods to replace Pino. The group started writing and recording their songs in Noelle's apartment as money from their label started to disappear. With little label support, the band asked out of their contract and were dropped from RCA. They immediately received interest from Island Records and signed a new deal with them in 2005.

The band began working on a new album and released Out Here All Night on iTunes March 21st, 2006 and in stores May 23rd 2006. During the recording of the album, Vazquez passed out after getting off the treadmill at the gym and laid in a coma for two days due to a brain hemorrage. He had been pronounced dead and had a priest reading him his last rites when he came to. Vazquez recovered from the brain hemorrhage and has little to show from it but a temporary stutter.
