Damon Atkinson

Damon Atkinson replaced Roy Ewing as the drummer of Braid in 1997 and stayed in the band until it disbanded in 1999. His playing style is often noted for being heavy on complex time signatures, sometimes going into polyrhythmic territory.
After Braid parted ways he went on to be the drummer for Hey Mercedes with Todd Bell and Bob Nanna. Damon is a kind and gentle creature. His latest where abouts can be traced to touring with the likes of Senses Fail and Thrice doing really important stuff, like forgetting his old drum parts. He has confirmed a job this summer working with Senses Fail on the Van's Warped Tour. Damon recently made his acting debut on the set of Prison Break as "the prisoner."
