Damon is a census-designated area in Brazoria County, Texas, United States. As of the 2000 census, Damon population was 535.

Damon is located at GR1.
(29.289519, -95.737038)According to the United States Census Bureau, Damon has a total area of 3.6 square kilometers (1.4 mi²). It is completely covered with land, and has no area covered with water.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 535 people, 207 households, and 149 families residing in the Damon. The population density was 148.6/km² (385.7/mi²). There were 231 housing units at an average density of 64.2/km² (166.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 77.01% White, 1.31% Native American, 0.19% Asian, 21.12% from other races, and 0.37% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 27.10% of the population.
There were 207 households out of which 30.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.4% were married couples living together, 7.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 28.0% were non-families. 23.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 9.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.58 and the average family size was 3.07.
In Damon the population is spread out with 25.4% under the age of 18, 8.4% from 18 to 24, 26.7% from 25 to 44, 24.5% from 45 to 64, and 15.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 38 years. For every 100 females there were 105.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 101.5 males.
The median income for a household in the CDP was $31,111, and the median income for a family was $37,250. Males had a median income of $36,875 versus $23,750 for females. The per capita income for the CDP was $15,950. About 14.2% of families and 20.8% of the population were below the poverty line, including 29.7% of those under age 18 and 16.9% of those age 65 or over.
