The Damer programming language is based on the Whitespace programming language and uses three tokens named "damer", "damerdamer" and "damerdamerdamer". The command set is identical to that of Whitespace.
The word damer means girls or women in Norwegian. The Damer programming language is inspired by and based on a popular Norwegian TV commercial for Tine yoghurt, featuring a boy thinking "damer, damer, damer, damer, damer, damer, yoghurt? ... damer, damer, damer, damer, damer" while opening his refrigerator.
