Dalmanites limulurus is a species of Silurian trilobite in the order Phacopida. The species name is derived from perceived similarities in appearance to the modern-day horseshoe crab Limulus. They can be noticed by the prominent, semicircular, schizochroal eyes and by the sharp spike extinding back from the center of the pygidium.
The most famous and detailed specimens of D. Limulurus are found in the Middle Silurian Rochester Shale Formation of western New York (USA).
