Dale Hellestrae

Dale Hellestrae was an American football player in the National Football League from 1985-2001 as a member of the Buffalo Bills, Dallas Cowboys, and Baltimore Ravens. A member of three Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl teams, the 6-foot-5, 300-pound offensive lineman specialized as a long snapper and special teams player during his pro career.

A 1985 fourth-round draft pick (#112 overall) of the Buffalo Bills, Hellestrae played college football at Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas where he played with future NFL standouts Eric Dickerson, Craig James, Rickey Bolden, Wes Hopkins, Russell Carter, Michael Carter, and Rod Jones.

Today, Hellestrae works as a color analyst on professional football games, including the Arizona Rattlers of the Arena Football League.
