Dalby Christian School is a co-educational, Christian Independent primary and secondary school (Preschool - Year 12) located in Dalby, Queensland, Australia, 250 km west of Brisbane. The school currently, as of 2006, caters for roughly 300 students.
The school was founded in 1981 and is a member of the Christian Schools Association of Australia. The school has a strong focus on Christian Care, the aim of the school being to provide Christian parents with an option of a Christ-centred, Biblically based (in the framework of an Evangelical Protestant faith system) education for their children. Dalby Christian School thus seeks to nurture its students in Christian beliefs and values through striving to integrate faith in Christ with everyday life. Teachers are expected to model Christian values, such as respect, care, justice and forgiveness, in all of their interactions within and outside the school community.
According to the School website [1], Dalby Christian School offers the following educational advantages:
- Senior subjects contribute to an Overall Position (OP) and Vocational Education subjects are also offered.
- Students with special needs are catered for with learning support.
- The school also offers a range of extra-curricular options including after-school tutoring, athletics training, chapel band, choir, debating, soccer, netball and a Leos club.

Curriculum
Dalby Christian School claims to promote a seamless education from Preschool to Year 12. The school emphasises:
• reading skills beginning in Preschool
• reading for understanding
• neat handwriting and effective communication
• mental calculations
• recall of basic number facts and multiplication tables
• enjoyment of the arts
Primary Subjects:
A wide range of subjects is taught within the primary curriculum.
Extra-Curricular Activities:
Along with the formal curriculum, the school offers a range of extra-curricular options including free after-school tutoring, athletics training, debating, soccer, netball and a Leos Club.
Traineeships, Apprenticeships & Work Placements:
In Years 11 and 12, students are able to drop one line and take up one of either a traineeship, an apprenticeship or a work placement. Usually this would involve 1 day per week at the workplace & other allocated times for course work. Years 9, 10 & under special circumstances year 8 students, are able to undertake the above as for Years 11 & 12 students.
