[edit] Mr Beans AfD

Hi, a quick note. Most likely a simple over site, but the AfD Mr Beans has not been completed properly, it has not been placed on the AfD discussion log page as per step three of Template:AfD in 3 steps.--blue520 06:01, 17 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Warning Templates

Hi Dakart! I noticed you added a warning to 84.64.11.223's talk page for his vandalism of Robert Spencer. It looks like a modified final warning template. I appreciate your help, but I've found in the past (the hard way) most admins will not block a user until the entire range of applicable warnings are issued, e.g. test1-test4 must be issued before an IP can be temporarily blocked for vandalism. Please take this as constructive criticism, as I am glad to see you fighting vandalism. Feel free to contact me with questions, or concerns! -- Chet nc contribstalk 19:54, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

Hello. Actually the warning I used on 84.64.11.223's was the first and final warning for severe vandalism... I assumed that racist remarks would fall under that category. Thanks for the advice. --Dakart 20:00, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
Not a problem. The instructions on warning vandals states that the whole range of applicable category warning templates, which I interpret to be a row in the table at the Test Templates page, be given. I interpret that to mean if you wanted to warn a blatant vandal, using the blatant vandal category of templates, you start with {{vw}}, move to {{blatantvandal}}, then go with {{test4im}}, however some administrators I've seen insist that test1-4 be issued before blocking. I don't think a single warning is ever good enough to block, especially when it's an IP (anonymous) editor, as there tends to be a lot of collateral damage depending on who owns the IP space. Take care, and happy editing/vandal hunting! -- Chet nc contribstalk 20:19, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
