Talk:Daido Juku
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
As a practioner from the headquarters of daido juku in Tokyo, I just wanted to make a small correction: in the WARS tournament, the hokutoki rules DO NOT apply: conversely, the daido juku fighters adopt their opponent's rules and even outfits. (pancrase, muay thai, lutte-contact are a few examples). It is also false to say that most of the student have a history in MA. Most of the fighters have experience in other MA, but a lot of them started by daido-juku, and dojos are full of absolute beginners. Not all of them will become hokutoki fighters, of course, but that the same in any MA...
- I made the corrections. Please consider expanding on the article since you provide first-hand knowledge of the subject. Some topic heading that might be included would be: History, Techniques, Training, Competition, and Organization (what countries have dojo, where's the headquarters, etc.).
