Daiwa, Shimane

Daiwa was the former name of a village located in Ōchi District, Shimane, Japan.

As of 2003, the village had an estimated population of 1,881 and a density of 19.39 persons per km². The total area was 97.03 km².

  • On October 1, 2004, the village of Daiwa merged administratively with the town of Ochi to form the new town of Misato.
