Daisy-Head Mayzie is a 1995 children's book by Theo. LeSieg.
Daisy-Head Mayzie is in fact written by Theodor Seuss Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss. Because he did not illustrate it, he signed as Theo. LeSieg (Geisel, his last name, spelled backwards). The book is about a schoolgirl named Mayzie who one day suddenly sprouts a bright yellow daisy from her head. It causes alarm in her classroom, family, and town, until an agent makes her a celebrity. The Cat in the Hat is seen as a character in this story.
In 1995, the book was adapted for television on TNT.
