Daisendorf is a village with about 1600 inhabitants in south-western Germany. It is part of the Bodensee district, which is part of the Land Baden-Württemberg.

The village is situated on a hill about 2km north of Meersburg, at about 500-600m above sealevel. It lies above the for the region very influential lake called Bodensee.

Daisendorf was first mentioned in the 8th Century. The village has an ancient Chapel which was built in 1508 and holds unique fresques of the renaissance age. Daisendorf features several yearly happenings like the popular "Weinfest", which takes place in the end of August as a celebration and tasting of harvest of the regional wineries.

Daisendorf is a popular tourist destination at the Lake of Constance, featuring nice views of the swiss alps (Säntisregion) and the Bodensee, as well as the charming flair of a diverse rural community.
