The Daihatsu Costa was a concept car created by Japanese automobile manufacturer, Daihatsu. The Costa was first introduced at the 2005 Tokyo Motor Show. The Costa is basically a city car that was designed to be taken to the beach.

[edit] The Car Itself

The Costa is a lightweight for an automobile, since it only weighs 1,654 pounds. The Costa does not feature any doors, which makes the Costa sort of like a golf cart, as well. The Costa is powered by a 660 cc turbocharged 3-cylinder engine. All these features make the Costa a pretty swift vehicle for its size. Currently, the Costa is in no sight of ever going into production in the near future.
