Dai Ki Haku
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Dai Ki Haku (the utmost radation of the inner force) is a Danish martial art founded by Shihan Kurt Orum Sorensen.[1]
The art is combat oriented rather than sport. It is geared towards self-defense as well as physical and mental well-being. It includes spiritual practices such as meditation. The art is taught in small groups to insure best quality of the class. Training takes place indoors as well as outdoors. For excercise, natural sources such as tree branches and water are used while machines are avoided. Students have the option of "Uchi Deshi", becoming a full time student who trains daily, pushing themself to the limit. Students are also encouraged to visit other martial art schools as an exchange of skill and information. To become a student, one does not have to be in good physical shape, just willing to do their best. Potential students must pass an application process.
Orum also offers a "follow me" program, where the participants follow Orum in training, excercises and leisure for 3 days; as well he also offers conflict management and personal guidance.
