Sure DaGizza. That will be the next thing I'll do on wikipedia. I remember some weeks ago I added some stuff from the French articlce into the English one. Regards, deeptrivia (talk) 03:09, 2 April 2006 (UTC)

Namaskar DaGizza, how are you? Thanks for your support in my RFA. The final vote count was (88/3/1), so I am now an administrator. I am very humbled by your vote and grateful. Please let me know if at any stage you require assistance, or if you have comments on how I am doing as an administrator. [edit] Australian Mathematics Competition
Hello DaGizza. I thought a student of Sydney Grammar School could help me with this because it is known for being a strong mathematical school, olympiads and all that. I know how the scoring format was for 2001 and before, and know how it changed in 2002. I can find the 2005 format online. However, not so for 2003 and 2004. I think they may have tweaked it again in 2003 and 2004, but there is no archive of the news at the online website http://www.amt.edu.au, so I'm wondering if you did the competition in these years and can remember what the mark scheme was. Thanks, Blnguyen | Have your say!!! 08:29, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, nobody in SA (apart from Olympiad veterans) knows about Sydney Grammar or James Ruse Agricultural High School. Nobody in SA apart from the same people know that the AMC cutoffs in SA are about 5-10 marks lower than NSW, or that 60% of the olympiad people are from NSW either. Thanks for your info, I've found a few other current Ruse people I might ask. Regards, Blnguyen | Have your say!!! 02:33, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
- And Thanks for fixing the error, Blnguyen | Have your say!!! 02:36, 4 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re: A request for CricketBot
Thanks for your message, DaGizza. I wonder if *Paul* has a way to do it more easily. He updates all the pages like List of English Test cricketers and List of Test cricket records after each match. I assume he does it automatically, in which case maybe he could do the infoboxes at the same time? Stephen Turner (Talk) 09:28, 4 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Requesting your help
Thank you for inviting me to participate in the development of the Hinduism related articles.
I am planning to do that time to time.
I was happy to know about your interest in Sanskrit. I also studied Sanskrit for 6 years.
I would like to request your help and advice. I face a difficult problem. I am hoping you can help me.
I believe in India and I believe in its tradition of accomodation of multiple philosophies.
However I believe that there are some groups that are taking advantage of the Indian/Hindu openness to denigrate Indian culture. They have been very effective in promoting their points of view, they apparently have the resources at their disposal, and they are experts in the science of public relations.
I would like to see a more balanced view presented at Wikipedia and on the web in general.
I have been a student of Hindu/Indian history for a long time, and I do have academic, even scholarly credentials. However I am a very slow typist and I am not a great speller. Also I don't always have free time.
Look at articles Friends of South Asia and Anti-Brahmanism. A contributor Anirvan would like his views to prevail. He has the typing speed and the time, and an excellent command of English. I don't think I can match him.
What would you suggest?
--ISKapoor 22:16, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks
Hi DaGizza. Thanks for the invite to the Hinduism WikiProject. I wouldn't claim to have a very broad knowledge of Hinduism (particularly as practiced in areas outside my part of India), so I'll have to opt out.
With reference to ISKapoor's complaints about me, I'd already suggested mediation as a tool to help resolve the dispute. It's been frustrating watching him erase all references to historical caste oppression as a cause for Anti-Brahmanism, or trying to pass off as NPOV the implication that Friends of South Asia, a San Francisco Bay Area anti-war group composed of Indian and Pakistani immigrants, is a shadowy organization trying to promote Communism and terrorism against India (e.g. see his preferred edits, and mine; I made sure to fully research and document as many criticisms as possible). I'm hoping an outside mediator can help.
[edit] Semi-protection
Hi, thanks for semiprotecting The Sims 2, I don't usually request it but as the edit history shows, for some reason a whole load of IPs decided to start vandalising at more or less the same time, and I was fed up with reverting them. Feel free to unprotect it in a couple of days, I doubt they'll be back... though they may have moved onto another article :( – Gurch 12:58, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] ramayana hindu -myth
I think the hindu myth template should go there for now unless the the ramayana is improved later on with links wot Hindu mythology pages. I always try to keep one template on each Hindu article unless it really calls for more.--Dangerous-Boy 18:04, 14 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] VandalProof 1.1 is Now Available For Download
Happy Easter to all of you, and I hope that this version may fix your current problems and perhaps provide you with a few useful new tools. You can download version 1.1 at User:AmiDaniel/VandalProof. Let me warn you, however, to please be extremely careful when using the new Rollback All Contributions feature, as, aside from the excessive server lag it would cause if everyone began using it at once, it could seriously aggitate several editors to have their contributions reverted. If you would like to experiment with it, though, I'd be more than happy to use my many sockpuppets to create some "vandalism" for you to revert. If you have any problems downloading, installing, or otherwise, please tell me about them at User:AmiDaniel/VP/Bugs and I will do my best to help you. Thanks. [edit] Here's list, in great disarray
Since you're working on the Bollywood film list, here's my INTERIM list, minus most of the film years, which are in another column, and being corrected (years got munged when I did something stupied). These are Upperstall, Greencine, Bollywhat, and Zulm Top 100. I think the Zulm Top 100 had a lot of junk in it, and several non-Bollywood films. Pick out the films you recognize and we'll deal with the niceties later.

[edit] Now all right
Hello, Now I am all right. I am pasting a message below explaining my absence. Best regards.
"My dear friends, I regret that I could not notify you about my absence. Actually, I fell sick suddenly on the morning of 3rd April 2006, and was confined to bed and was not allowed Internet access. Now, I am more or less in "shape". The problem was very serious infection. I missed wikipedia and wikipedians for three long weeks, and I feel really sad… for first few days, I even dreamt of wikipedia! I think that in next few days, my wiki-life shall become normal. I thank you for the concern and care, I know wikipedians are the most active virtual community, and Wikipedia is Better than the Best." --Bhadani 10:11, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Portal
Hello DaGizza, Thank you for considering me. First of all, I am not a bot. I have done all the work manually. I am sorry as I am unable to help in doing work on Portal:Hinduism right now because I am going home tomorrow as my examinations are getting over yesterday. Right now, I am trying to give enough back up for Portal:India as today's selected article and picture of the week. But I will surely try to do some help after 12 May, after coming back from home. I apologise for it. Regards, Shyam (T/C) 14:01, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] from Ravi Chaudhary
Dear Dagizza
I need some help
I gather you have exams coming up, so do not waste a lot of time on this.
I am new to Wiki as you know.be dealt with?
I am not fluent in tags, meta tags etc, and do not know how to add references, citations in a fluent manner.
Could you review my changes/discussion on the article below, and guide me.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Shekhawati
Am I following guidelines.?
How are personal attacks to be handled?
How are anonymous posters to be handled?
How are these delete and revert issues dealt with. I have bene reluctant to post in Wki, because of the revert and delete wars!
Any help will be welcome
Best regards
Ravi Chaudhary

Yeah, number of places actually. You can request Sango herself to design it. She is always very helpful & would be willing. You can also request my dear friend Master of Puppets, who is also a very competent page designer, to do it. Also I see that you are a member of Esperanza, so you can join the Trading Spaces program, where an Esperanzian will design your page. Hope that helps & thanks for you kind comments.
Cheers
