Dagmar Midcap

Dagmar Midcap is a media personality based in Vancouver, British Columbia. A graduate of British Columbia Institute of Technology's broadcast journalism program in 1990[1], she began her television career on WB55 TV in Cleveland, Ohio, appearing on a weekly current affairs program (1990-1998). She then returned to British Columbia where she worked as the traffic and weather reporter on VTVs Breakfast before moving to Global Television's BCTV Morning Show as a fill-in traffic reporter. Moving away from live television, she hosted Crash Test Mommy, on the Life Network.
She is the middle of three daughters and something of a tomboy with a great love for animals of all kinds. Able to translate her interest in cars, motorcycles and creature care into her next career move, in 2005 she landed an enviable role as co-host of BCTVs Driving Television (which airs nationally in Canada on Global Television and Mentv). The program is a weekly survey of automotive industry news where she to test drives new cars on a regular basis.
Dagmar is a respected journalist as a result of authoring a national column entitled Hot Wheels. Her written work as an automotive and motorcycle journalist can currently be seen in BOBBI magazine.
She often appeared in film and television series produced in the Vancouver area. She has appeared in such films as Catwoman, and Air Bud: Seventh Inning Fetch. Television appearances have included Smallville, Stargate SG-1 (Dead Zone), Just Cause, Touching Evil, Twilight Zone. She also had recurring roles on the series Dark Angel among others.
