Dae Hyuk Lee is a South Korean actor. He has performed in movies including YMCA Baseball Team.

His father was Eun Il Lee, a textile and fashion designer. His mother was Juhee Nam, (real name: Nam, Soon Ock) a goldsmith.

Dae Hyuk Lee is a descendant of the Lee clan. His ancestors originally came from North Korea. His great grandparents were given a choice to choose from South Korea or North. Now he is officially a South Korean.

His name, meaning "star," was given to him by his grandfather, who is a pastor. This name was given to him so that he would shine and soon contribute something to the world that his grandparents could not.
