We can edit the article, but for historical accuracy, we cannot edit the text of the quote itself; Its a quote, after all. However, we can cut and paste from the article, insert it somewhere else, and then edit it there.

Can't the text be transwikied to Wikisource, with the background remaining here? JFW | T@lk 10:11, 10 Jun 2004 (UTC)
I don't think there's a problem with including the source at Wikisource, but given how short the text is, I don't think that removing it completely to Wikisource simply because it's source text truly serves the purpose of Wikisource which, at least as I understand it, is designed to be a repository of source texts that are significantly more extensive in length and interest than the relatively few paragraphs of the Dabru Emet statement.
