D.J. MacHale

D.J. MacHale, or Donald James MacHale, (born March 11, 1956 in Connecticut) is the author of the fantasy Pendragon series. This story follows Bobby Pendragon (the main character) through his adventures on each of the ten different "territories". This series has sold over 1 million copies. He started the series in 2001. So far seven of ten planned books have come out, and a seventh, The Quillan Games, was released on May 16, 2006. He has also written, directed, and produced many TV series and movies including, Flight 29 Down; Are You Afraid of the Dark?; Encyclopedia Brown; Tower of Terror; and Ghostwriter.
