D'Hanis, Texas

D'Hanis is a small unincorporated community in central Medina County, Texas. It is located at the intersections of U.S. Highway 90, Farm to Market Road 1796 and Farm to Market Road 2200 on the Seco Creek.

D'Hanis was the third settlement founded by Henry Castro, and settled by nine Alsatian families in 1847.

The D'Hanis Independent School District serves area students.
