D-Nice

D-Nice is the stage name of rapper and hip hop musician Derrick Jones, who began his career in the mid-1980s and was long associated with the group Boogie Down Productions. He was also involve in the fight that cause Scott la rock to his death to shooting in 1987. He concentrated on story lines rather than stylistic effects.
His most successful song was "Call Me D-Nice", released in 1990, built around an organ sample from The Turtles's "Buzz Saw."
