Cyril Théréau, (born April 24, 1983 in Privas, France), is a football striker, currently playing for the Romanian club Steaua Bucharest. He was signed in the last day of the summer transfer window from the Belgian side R. Charleroi S.C. to become the second French player ever to play in Liga I. Although he is very tall, he has a good shot and is a technical player.

Before joining Steaua, Théréau played for US Orléans, Angers SCO in France and R. Charleroi S.C. in Belgium.
Théréau made a huge step in his career this summer. If in June 2006 he was still playing in the France's third division, in September 2006 he was used as a substitute in a UEFA Champions League match.
He was brought at Steaua by the team's coach, who saw him play against Standard Liège and through he might be a good replacement of the injured Victoraş Iacob. He managed to score his first hat-trick for Steaua in the game Steaua won against FC National in the Romanian First League, on the 12th of November 2006. Théréau is considered, along with Valentin Badea, the best transfer this season, and he has become an idol.
