Cyril "Marseille Bad Boy" Abidi (bornFebruary 25, 1976) is a French kickboxer with Moroccon descent. His road to fame started in the year 2000 when he entered K-1 and created a huge upset with a 1st Round KO win over legendary Peter Aerts. The same year at K-1 World GP 2000 in Yokohama he met Peter Aerts again in a rematch and took another TKO win over the famous Dutch fighter. Later that year at the K-1 World Grand Prix 2000 Finals in the Tokyo Dome he met Peter Aerts for the third time but suffered a decision loss this time.
His fight against fellow Frenchman and rival Jerome Le Banner at K-1 World GP 2005 in Paris what he lost by a decision is considered one of the greatest battles in the history of K-1.
He is either loved or hated by the fight fans because of his controversial unorthodox fighting style.
