Cynthia Gould

Cynthia Gould is a writer, painter, and spoken word performer from Toronto, Canada. Gould was educated at Durham College where she received a degree in graphic design. Her work and performances have been showcased across North America, touring twice with The Perpetual Motion Roadshow.

Her television appearances include MuchOnDemand, The New Music, and talktv's (now Mtv Canada) The Chatroom, where she was also the webmistress and occasional segment producer ("The Crystal Ball"). Other employment has included bartender, assistant librarian, baker's assistant, clerk at a small art gallery, studio manager at an advertising agency, and graphic designer.

She was a feature panelist at Webzine 2002 in San Francisco, California, discussing print vs. webzines, and panelist at Canzine 2001 in Toronto, Ontario.

Creator of the annual costumed pub crawl Bridesmaidmania, and the infamous Tinfoil Hat Contest.
