Cy (kitten)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Cyclops or Cy (December 28–December 29, 2005) was a holoprosencephalic ragdoll kitten born with a single eye. It became famous when the Associated Press distributed a picture on January 9, 2006. The litter also produced a normal sibling kitten.
Traci Allen of Redmond, Oregon, Cy's owner, sold the remains to the creationist Lost World Museum, because she "liked his religious reasons for wanting them". The museum is planning to use the remains as an example of harmful mutation as part of the standard creationist claim that there are no beneficial mutations [1].
