Cwmbwrla is the name of an electoral ward, a community and a suburb in the City and County of Swansea, South Wales.
The electoral ward consists of some or all of the following areas: Brondeg, Brynhyfryd, Cwmbwrla, Cwmdu, Gendros, Manselton, in the parliamentary constituency of Swansea East. The ward is bounded by Cockett to the west; Castle and Townhill to the south; Landore to the east; and Penderry and Mynydd-Bach to the north.
The suburb of Cwmbwrla is located about 1 mile (1.5 km) north of Swansea City Centre. It is predominantly a residential area with just a few local convenience stores. The terrain here is mainly undulating and is set high above sea level.
