A cutback is a roller coaster inversion similar to a corkscrew, except that the two half-corkscrews are in opposite directions so that the train exits the inversion in the opposite direction from which it entered. The defunct Drachen Fire at Busch Gardens, Williamsburg is the only known roller coaster ever to have a cutback inversion.
