This template returns the English week day abbreviation (between mon and sun) for today (UTC time, as set on the Wikipedia server.

Syntax:

{{CURRENTWEEKDAYABBREV}}

Note:

This template may be implemented natively in the local Wikipedia server; with the syntax above, you'll use the native implementation, when available.

Make sure that the returned value displayed in the above example equals "Sat" exactly. Otherwise update the names in the Template:WEEKDAYABBREV template.
