[edit] Plot

Robert "Tank" Winsley begins to work for Dr. Magrew by sculpting a puppet for the doctor to reanimate using the work of Andre Toulon. Soon, Tank begins to fall in love with the Jane, Magrew's daughter.

Unbeknownst to Tank and Jane, Magrew is trying to create a "perfect race" of puppet humans, and unbeknownst to them all, the puppets take revenge on those who threaten Tank or Jane.

Jane discovers that her uncle's former assistant, Matt, has been turned into hideous, half-alive "puppet" as part of her uncle's scheme. She arrives just in time to see that her father, killed by the puppets, had succeeded in putting a living human, Tank, into the puppet he carved.

  • The puppet which Tank is turned into is drastically different from the original plans. The puppet he carved was pure wood, yet the one he ends up as is a futuristic tank-robot with a TV screen for a face, similar to Decapitron from the earlier films. It was originally planned for a different movie, but ended up in this film instead.
