Curran Theatre

The Curran Theatre is located in San Francisco. Many Broadway national tours have played at the Curran Theatre. Before the musical Wicked became successful in New York, it originated at the Curran with Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel. On December 17, 2005, the play Lestat made its debut in the Curran Theatre. Bernie Taupin and Elton John are collaborating on the music and lyrics, and many accomplished actors and actresses will star in the production. Lestat is based on the first three books of Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles series.
