Curly Flat is a fictional place in the whimsical cartoons of Australian Michael Leunig. Mr Curly, one of Leunig's most recognisable characters, resides at Curly flat and leads a peaceful life bird watching and growing vegetables. Mr Curly is distinguishable from other Leunig characters by the curl on the back of his head. Many things in Curly Flat have a similiar curl, including the asparagus.
