Curly Bear (Sesame Street)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Curly Bear is a female Muppet, Baby Bear's baby sister, a member of the Bear family on Sesame Street.
Unlike The Three Bears in the classic fairy tale, Sesame Street's Three/Four Bears are certainly sentient characters, and do not regularly appear together. Since season 34, Curly has been the second most frequently-appearing of the Bears, after Baby Bear. Curly never appears in an episode without Baby Bear.
In episode 4059, Curly Doesn't Like Porridge, Baby Bear is horrified to learn Curly doesn't like porridge. Alan explains to Baby Bear that it's okay if family or even best friends have different tastes, and their differences can even be a special part of Curly and Baby Bear's relationship.
In Elmo's World: Happy Holidays, it was revealed that the Bear family was Jewish. While this special takes place before Curly's birth, it is highly likely that Curly is also Jewish.
