Talk:Cuotl
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In the very first paragraph, the article states that when the Cuotl "landed" in the Aio ranforest, they disguised themselves as four gods, yet I see only three heroes. Is the fourth god the flying city? No other faction has four hero units, so why should the Cuotl? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.21.161.229 (talk • contribs) 22 August 2006.
- In the single player game, there are multiple heroes per side, not just three that I assume are available in the multiplayer game (having never played it myself). The four Cuotl heroes are Ix, the Moon God, Xil, the Sun God, Shok, the Goddess of Storms, and Czin, the God of Death. Similarly, the Vinci also have Carlini, Battaglion, Distruzio, etc., and the Alin have Arri. –Dvandersluis 19:14, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
- Ah, I see. As I do not (yet) own the game, I was not aware of Ix. Perhaps he should be added to the heroes section of the main article?
- Yes, the hero sections for all three races need to be drastically updated. For now, each race page is pretty much just forked off from the main ROL page with a few minor changes. If you take a look at Template:Rise of Legends, there is a redlink for each hero that needs a page to be added. –Dvandersluis 03:31, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
- While Ix is a god he is NOT a hero and plays very small role in single player mode. In multiplayer he appears on one map and is a strong melee fighter, his only related unit is the ungodly powerful Moon Gorilla, which one hits kills most buildings and costs as much as a master unit.DTWATKINS 00:17, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
I have beaten all three campaigns and there are indeed four gods, but upon arriving in Cuotl territory, Giacomo kills the Moon God and uses his technology to adapt his walker, so he never really appears.
