Cumberland High School (Rhode Island)

Introduction
Cumberland High School is a public school located in Cumberland, Rhode Island. Established in 1962, it currently schools about 1,600 students. It is headed by principal Steve Driscoll and Assistant Pricipals Brian Keller, Robert Fuller, and Omer Leclerc.

Academics
Cumberland High houses departments in English, Mathematics, Sciences, History, Languages, Special Education, and Fine Arts.
Most students enroll in the college-prepatory courses, while others enroll in the Business or Technical Prep.

Extra-Curriculars
Extra-curricular activities play an important in students' life at Cumberland High School. The school hosts approximately 25 clubs and co-curricular activities as well as over 20 sports for girls and boys.
The boys cross country and track team have consistently placed in top spots at States Meet. The wrestling and swim team have also done very well at States. The football team has recently encountered some hard times, having trouble winning games.
The girl's soccer team was once ranked 18th in the country, but have fallen on hard times. The same holds true for the field hockey team. The cross country and track teams usually place amongst the top 10 teams in State Meet and sends several to participate at New England Meet.
