Talk:Cultural diffusion
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Cultural diffusion has nothing to do with archaeology! Cultural diffusion is the selective integration or natural cohesion of many different cultures. This article is in need of a cleanup. freestylefrappe 01:39, May 26, 2005 (UTC)
- Eh, then why did I just learn about it in archaeology? Actually, that's not really correct, I didn't learn about since I'm an anthro major and already knew about it, but we did talk about it and the people who weren't anthro majors learned about it. It has a lot to do with archaeology, which studies how and why cultures have evolved over time. Diffusion is obviously an important explanation of some types of cultural change, so it's pretty important to archaeology. Ungovernable ForceGot something to say? 05:08, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Possible refactoring
Possible issues on what should be where among:
- Reclaiming
- Reappropriation
- Cultural appropriation
- Cultural diffusion
- and possibly some other topics related to this subject
How should we refactor, how should we disambiguate? Discussion is at Talk:Reappropriation. - Jmabel | Talk 04:07, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
