Culver-Stockton College

Culver-Stockton College is a private college located in Canton, Missouri. The school is affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Culver-Stockton College was founded as Christian University in 1853. The college changed its name in 1917 to reflect the generosity of two donors, Mary Culver and Robert Stockton. The current president is Dr. William Fox. As of 2006, the college enrolled approximately 830 students. Culver-Stockton College is located on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River and the town of Canton.

Culver-Stockton College offers bachelor's degrees in twenty-seven different fields of study.

Culver-Stockton's athletic teams are known as the Wildcats and compete in the Heart of America Athletic Conference, an affiliate of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). Men's sports are baseball, basketball, football, golf, and soccer. Women's sports are basketball, golf, soccer, softball, and volleyball.
