Cubert Farnsworth is Professor Hubert Farnsworth's clone from the fictional animated television series Futurama. He was created from a growth on the Professor's back in 2989. Cubert differs from the Professor in appearance due to his nose being squashed up against the wall of his cloning tube from being left there too long.

[edit] Unveiling
Cubert was unveiled to the crew in 3001 (A Clone of my Own) to become the professor's successor. At first, he kept thinking that the Professor was crazy, that the professor's thoughts were impossible and that his crew was incompetent. However, because of a dream (after being knocked out), he realised that nothing is impossible and went on to save the crew from the Near Death Star robots.
[edit] Character
Cubert is pompous, arrogant, and very rude to the other members of Planet Express. Unsurprisingly, he is unpopular. He will frequently shout "That's preposterous!"
[edit] Friends
Cubert befriended Hermes' son Dwight as they both attend the same boarding school. When Cubert, Dwight and Tinny Tim invites kids to Planet Express for a party ("Bender Should Not Be Allowed On TV"), Professor Farnsworth thinks that they have no friends until they were regarded as "cool" on the Coolometer.
[edit] Awesome Express
In "The Route of All Evil", Cubert and Dwight teamed up to overthrow Planet Express for their own delivery company- Awesome Express. When the duo realized that they had promised to deliver more than they could, their parents help them out. After apologizing to Horrible Gelatinous Blob (with the apology unaccepted), Cubert and Dwight realize that they should give up and let their parents do all the managing.
[edit] Trivia
- According to the DVD commentaries he was the first character to be designed.
- Cubert is a veiled parody of Wesley Crusher
- "Cubert" is a reference to the arcade game Q*bert.
- As a clone, Cubert is very likely to have a condition known as "wandering bladder." (At the end of "A Clone of my Own", the Professor tells Cubert to check up on a condition known as wandering bladder)
- Cubert may be missing a toe ("Jurassic Bark")
