CSPro, short for Census and Survey Processing System is a public domain statistical package developed by the U.S. Census Bureau, Macro International, and Serpro,S.A. Its major funding was from the U.S. Agency for International Development.
The software can be used for entering, editing, tabulating, and mapping of census and survey data. This package is widely used by statistical agencies in developing countries.
CSPro was designed and implemented through a joint effort among the developers of the Integrated Microcomputer Processing System (IMPS) and the Integrated System for Survey Analysis (ISSA): the United States Census Bureau, Macro International, and Serpro S.A. Funding for the development is provided by the Office of Population of the United States Agency for International Development. CSPro was designed to replace both IMPS and ISSA.
A commercial client/server web based version of the software is also available from Serpro,S.A..
