The CS Mackay-Bennett was a cable-laying ship based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She earned her fame by carrying out the difficult task of retrieving and returning bodies floating in the North Atlantic after the Titanic disaster.

Mackay-Bennett found only 306 of the 1,500 Titanic victims.
