Crystal Harris
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Crystal Harris was a minor fictional character on the NBC soap opera Passions. She was played by Brenda Epperson Doumani in 2000.
Crystal Harris was a caucasian singer who was close friends with african american Eve Johnson when they were singers together at the Blue Note Club in Boston around 30 years ago. Crystal and Eve were both involved in drugs and Crystal knew about Eve's affair with the wealthy Julian Crane. Crystal was there for Eve when she gave birth to her son who has long believed to have passed away soon after.
When Crystal came to Harmony she was shocked to meet a biracial man named Chad Harris (which was her father's name) looking for his biological parents. Crystal offered to help Chad find out more about his biological parents but was killed by Antione who was aiming for Julian Crane's sister Sheridan Crane before she could do so.
It has later been revealed that Chad was not the son of Julian and Eve but actually the son of Julian's father Alistair Crane who raped Eve's adopted half-sister Liz Sanbourne when she was 14, who is Chad's mother. How this ties back to him being named after Crystal Harris's father is unknown.

[edit] Occupation
- Former Jazz singer.
[edit] Note
- Crystal is presumably not related to Chad Harris's adopted parents but this has not actually been confirmed either way.
