Cryptic Sounds is an instrumental EP Megadeth released in 1998, highlighting 5 selections from their seventh studio album, Cryptic Writings.
Vocal tracks on the songs are replaced with guitar melodies, while "She-Wolf" was completely reworked, with the first half of the song performed in a Spanish acoustic style.
