The single was produced by Darkchild who has produced various hits like Deja Vu, Too Grown For That by Tamia and many more. The song samples The Stylistics "The Miracle". and contains an interpolation of Soul Survivor by Young Jeezy and Akon. It was released in November 2006. The video for this single was premired on BET's Access Granted on November 1, 2006. It features Young Buck from G-unit.

Cry No More is about a woman in a unhealthy relationship. Her man cheats on her and she always cries. In the song she sings that she can't cry anymore because she is over her man and that she is through with her ex-boyfriend. She claims that she has a lot on her mind and she has been through a lot, she has no time to cry over him.
