[edit] Spirit of '76

The current text claims that this character is not based on the Quality/DC Uncle Sam but rather on the more abstract symbol. I respectfully disagree. If anything, Spirit of '76 is further distanced from the symbol than the Uncle Sam comicbook character ever was. Besides, the whole Marvel Crusaders team is based on the Freedom Fighters. Grammar needs fixing. The narrative summary veers from past to present tense and back again. Rhinoracer 09:04, 29 September 2006 (UTC)
