[edit] Articles

I was just wondering... some of the other lenguage Wikipedia have articles more complete than the ones here... is it ok to translate someone elses work into here? Or do I have to start my own one from scratch?

And does wikipedia has some kind of HTML tutorial? Im not really confident with it.

Cheers

Sure, you can definately translate work from other language Wikipedias into relevant articles here. Try and bring any relevant sources over with it (see WP:RS). And, one of the best parts of Wikipedia is that most of their articles use a simplified language that is often easier than HTML. You can check out the basics at Help:Editing as well as some examples at Help:Wiki markup examples. Also, if you want to do some testing, I recommend the sandbox. Let me know if you have any other questions! --Hetar 23:01, 7 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your user page

Hey, I just noticed your User page and I have to say, it looks pretty nice for someone who is just getting started with Wikipedia. Great job! Eres de Argentina eh? Entonces, hablas espanol tambien, verdad? Bueno, hay que recordar a no tomar demaciado mate! Si tiene otras pregruntas no dudas en pedir ayuda. Chao! --Hetar 06:26, 10 April 2006 (UTC)

Hey Hetar... thanks for the links that you passed me at the time that I needed help, they helped a lot. I learnt the editing basics reading them, and I just happend to finish my first editing. I will still explore what Wikipedia has to offer, there's a lot more than I expected. Unfortunately, it's pretty hard getting "Mate" in New Zealand, I haven't drink it in years lol. If I need help with other things in Wikipedia I'll surely ask you. Gracias de nuevo por la ayuda! --CROWDUDE 06:41, 10 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Auckland meetup

Just to let you know that a meetup is planned in Auckland for the 25th of June (see Wikipedia:Meetup/Auckland for more details), and that you are cordially invited. GeorgeStepanek\talk 00:21, 30 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Argentina notice-board

Hi and good work! I have been adding the articles you created to Wikipedia:Argentina-related regional notice board to let other editors know and encourage their input. I've probably been boring everybody with too much politics and history, so it's good to be able to add your work on cinema, etc. You may want to add any pages I've missed and add any future new pages you create. [edit] Why don't you edit in spanish Wikipedia?

Hello, I've seen in yor user page that you are argentinian and you're proud to be argentinian, but I have a question: If you are so prood to be argentine, why don't you edit in Spanish Wikipedia? You should edit in es: becouse is your native language. Also I've seen you have created many articles about Argentina, most of them are donĀ“t exist in es:

You 'll be welcome at es:, come on, and join us --MauronZ 01:13, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
