This image was scanned by Lisa Feyereisen from a photograph in her private collection for use in the public domain given it's historic significance. The picture was taken by Charles and Cora Marlar around 1970. The Marlars were teachers at Chuathbaluk, Alaska (Crow Village Sam School) at the time, and gave the picture to Margaret Pohjola who is the granddaughter of Crow Village Sam, and Margaret in turn gave it to Lisa who is a current resident of Crow Village, Alaska. It is assumed that the location of the picture is at Chuathbaluk, Alaska.
