Crownin' Me is the hit song by Playa Fly featuring his belated father, Bill Chill, off his 1996 album, Fly Shit. Crownin' Me was originally made in 1994, called Royalty & featured on Tommy Wright III's debut album, On The Run. Crownin' Me was made to the Three 6 Mafia (as it is clearly stated at the end of the song), but ended up becoming a Memphis classic, it is often compared to Nas' diss to Jay Z, Ether. The song is mainly about giving Playa Fly, along with his assossates, the proper respect they deserve. Fly's use of words are creative & unique, thus Crownin' Me one of the best songs to ever come out the South & making Playa Fly one of the best rappers ever.
