Cross-country skiing at the 1924 Winter Olympics

At the 1924 Winter Olympics, two Cross-country skiing events were held, the 18km and the 50km. This was also the Nordic skiing World Championships as well, which would be combined until the 1980 Winter Olympics.

Bronze | Tapani Niku (FIN) | 1:16.26 |
Afterwards it was found out that the results of Haug and Grøttumsbråten should have been disqualified: as a men of Nordic combined their hadn't entered their names in this event. Tapani Niku wasn't however willing to be awarded a gold medal. Later he was rewarded the medal of French Alp Club.

All three medalists in the 50km also finished in their same position in the Nordic combined event as well in this Winter Olympics.
