Crooks and Liars

Crooks and Liars is an American political blog founded by John Amato designed for and run by liberals and progressives. It first appeared on the internet in August 2004 and contains an audio and video archive of current political events[1], televison, and radio shows. Originally it only rebroadcasted audio and video of these events; however, in late 2005 it began to distribute original material, in the form of audio interviews, on the site.
The site frequently features clips from television programs such as The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Hardball with Chris Matthews, and Countdown with Keith Olbermann along with a variety of clips from television news media.
